EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Terre di Giumara’s oil is an extra-virgin olive oil extracted from olives cultivated in the heart of Belice Valley where the Nocellara del Belice variety finds its maximum expression. The olives are harvested by hand grabbing: the “maniacal” care and dedication, included in the milling, strictly at controlled temperature, give success to this precious product. The appearance is slightly veiled, obtained by natural decantation (unfiltered), medium high fluidity and intense green. The flavor is fruity of green olive, very fragrant and fresh, slightly spicy on the palate, bitterly barely noticeable with hints of green tomatoes, artichokes, citrus and almonds, balanced and harmonious. It has a marked scent of green olive. It can be used raw on roast meat and vegetables and on all kinds of salads. Ideal also for grilled fish. Equipped with remarkable amounts of antioxidants, it is an extremely genuine product. Great in baking for strong resistance to high temperatures. The last awards are the “Apa Paris 2015”: Gourmet d’Argent, of the National Award “L’Oro d’Italia 2015”: 4/5 Drops of Gold, and “gli Oli d’Italia 2014 – Gambero Rosso”: 2 Leaves.
